01Which payment gateway do you use?
A trusted South African provider, usually Paystack or Yoco. Both settle in rands to a local bank account, take Visa and Mastercard, and handle the card entry inside their own secure window so card numbers never pass through your site. If you already use a different provider, tell us early and we will say honestly whether it fits.
02What are the transaction fees?
The gateway charges those, not us, and the rate depends on the provider and your volume, so check their current pricing directly rather than taking our word for it. We do not add a markup and we do not take a percentage of your sales.
03Can we add and edit products ourselves?
Yes, and you are shown how before handover: adding a product, changing a price, marking something out of stock and refunding an order. If you would rather not touch it, product updates are exactly the kind of thing a care plan covers.
04How does shipping work?
It is configured around how you already move goods: a flat rate, rates by area, free over a threshold, or click and collect. If you use a courier with its own system, say so at the start, because integrating one is a different size of job to setting a flat rate.
05What happens if the checkout breaks?
A broken checkout costs you money the same day, which is why Pro Care exists. Support runs on weekdays with a same-day reply, and monitoring runs continuously so an outage is caught even outside working hours. We do not offer overnight cover, and we would rather tell you that now than during a problem.
