Chestnut Avenue Tennis Club runs six championship-grade clay and hard courts, and booked every one of them over the phone. Members rang, committee volunteers juggled a paper diary, and courts sat empty that could have been played.
The brief: put courts, coaching and membership online in a booking flow simple enough for every member, with a brand to match, built by us from the ball-mark up. A tightly scoped exception: full builds usually run six to eight weeks.
(02) · The thinking
“Members didn’t want a clubhouse app. They wanted a court, a time, and a confirmation, in fewer taps than it takes to serve.”
(01)
Simplify
One flow, three steps: pick a court, pick a time, confirm. Coaching and membership hang off the same spine, so nothing competes with the booking.
(02)
Build
A fast, editorial build with the club’s clay-court character front and centre, and the Book a court button never more than one glance away.
(03)
Hand over
Simple enough for committee volunteers to run: no dashboards to learn, no training sessions, no phone diary to keep.
